Dedicated to the advancement of retina science and innovation, the meeting aims to provide specialists, researchers and trainees like yourself the latest and most comprehensive array of updates in this rapidly changing and expanding field, delivered by a panel of distinguished international top faculty from the region and beyond.

With a yearly average attendance of 1,600 delegates from over 40 countries, the APVRS Congress offers a wide range of exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities for companies to do product launches and promotions and increase brand exposure.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION ONGOING!

 

Abstract submission for the 17th APVRS Congress is now open! Detailed submission guidelines can be found here. Abstract submission will close on July 19, 2024 (Fri). Do mark the date and ensure you submit your abstract on time!

The APVRS will be presenting the Best Abstract Awards for free paper, poster, e-poster and video category. Winners will receive an award certificate and free admission to the Gala Dinner, which will be held on November 23, 2024 (Sat).

 

 

TRAVEL GRANT APPLICATION NOW OPEN

 

We are excited to welcome delegates from around the world to join our congress this year. APVRS is pleased to offer up to 5 Prof. Yasuo Tano Travel Grant to young vitreoretinal specialists attending the 17th APVRS Congress in Singapore.

Priority will be given to applicants who are below 40 years old, from a developing country, and whose presentation(s) have been accepted as part of the Congress scientific program. Recipients who live outside of the Congress host country (Singapore) will each be awarded US$500, whilst those from Singapore will receive US$250.

Applications for the Prof. Yasuo Tano Travel Grant will close on July 19, 2024 (Fri). You may complete the online application form in the APVRS Congress system at http://congress.apvrs.org/. Authors will be notified of the abstract selection results by early September 2024.

 

VISA INFORMATION & ASSISTANCE

 

From 11 March 2022, all foreign visitors arriving in Singapore will be notified digitally of their Visit Pass (e-Pass) through email. There will not be any endorsement on your passport. The e-Pass notification will indicate the period of stay granted and last day of stay allowed. Please ensure that you provide a valid email address when submitting the SG Arrival Card. 

You may check this website to find out whether you require  a visa or entry permit to enter Singapore. Please do not hesitate to email secretariat@apvrs.org if you require special assistance in visa application.
